FAQ

What style of photography do you offer?

I offer a blend of traditional and candid photography styles, ensuring a balance of timeless, posed shots and authentic, in-the-moment captures. While I love working with natural light, I also incorporate flash when needed to provide the best possible lighting for your special day. This approach ensures that every moment, big or small, is beautifully documented.

How many images will I receive?

You can expect to receive approximately 50–80 tone- and color-corrected images per hour of coverage. Please note that retouching is not included in the base price but can be added as an optional service if desired.

How will I receive my wedding images?

Your wedding day memories will be delivered through a private online gallery, where you can download your images in high resolution. The gallery also offers the option to purchase professional prints and custom albums directly for your convenience.

How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?

I understand how exciting it is to see your wedding photos, and I work hard to ensure they’re worth the wait! Final processing and editing typically take up to 12 weeks, depending on the number of images captured. I’ll keep you updated throughout the process, so you’ll always know when to expect your gallery.

What format will the final images be in?

Your online gallery will include high-resolution images perfect for printing, as well as low-resolution images optimized for social media and online use. Please note that RAW files from the camera are not available.

What if I need a second photographer?

If you’d like a second photographer to help capture even more moments on your special day, please let me know! I’d be happy to discuss options and arrange for additional coverage to meet your needs.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes, I’m happy to travel for weddings within a 4-hour radius of Ottawa. However, I do not travel to the United States for wedding coverage. If your venue is within my travel range, let’s chat about how I can help capture your special day!

Do you backup the images?

Absolutely! Your images are backed up locally to ensure their safety throughout the editing process. I take every precaution to protect your memories until they’re delivered to you.

Can I request specific shots or poses?

Yes, I’d love to see your inspiration! Whether it’s a Pinterest board or a list of must-have shots, share your ideas with me, and I’ll do my best to bring them to life while ensuring your day is captured authentically.

How long do you keep our photos?

Your images will be stored for one year after delivery. Be sure to download and backup your photos during this time to keep them safe for years to come.

What should we do to prepare for our wedding photos?

Preparation makes a big difference! I recommend designating a point person to help coordinate family group shots. This helps the day run smoothly and ensures everyone important is included in your photos. I’m happy to guide you through other preparation tips during our consultation.
