A Month Of Emotions
It has been an extremely busy month of November! From Photo-booths to mini sessions it has been so much fun on my professional side of work. However with the tragedy of my fathers passing last month, his funeral was looming over my thoughts all month.
He was laid to rest in the last week of this month, so I kept my workload pretty light the last week of November, just to give myself the emotional space to deal with his passing whilst still being able to focus on work in a productive way.
So without further ado here is my month of November!
New Glass
As a wedding photographer, finding the right gear that balances sharpness, bokeh, and low-light performance is crucial. After much research (and a bit of gear lust), I finally added the Sigma 85mm f/1.4 DG to my kit, pairing it with my trusty Canon R5. So I may begin to prepare for a busy 2025.
The 85mm focal length has always been the perfect choice for capturing intimate moments. It allows me to step back and give couples space while still keeping a tight, flattering composition. Whether it's an emotional first look or a quiet moment post-ceremony, this lens makes the magic happen.

New gear, new possibilities: Sigma 85mm f/1.4 locked and loaded on my Canon R5. Ready to create those timeless wedding portraits. 📸✨
Holiday vibes captured with the Sigma 85mm f/1.4 on my Canon R5 🎄✨ Crisp moments, cozy feels, and all the warmth of the season!
Golden hour magic with the Sigma 85mm f/1.4 on the Canon R5 🌅 Capturing warmth, texture, and festive vibes in every frame.
Cozy moments and warm tones captured at sunset. The Sigma 85mm f/1.4 and Canon R5 are a dream team for portraits like this. 🍂📸
🎄 Christmas is Coming! 🎄
The Christmas Photo booths at the Russell Flea Market have been popular so far this month and I’m excited to announce that I’ll be returning for one more Christmas Studio at the Russell Flea Market on Saturday, December 14th, 2024! 🌟
So mark your calendars, and let’s create some festive memories together. Can’t wait to see you all there! 🎅❤️
My Mini's This Month
I had quite the variety of mini sessions available this month! From sessions in one of the conservation area's in Russell to the Cedar View Christmas Tree Farm in Pakenham. I really had a great time with my mini sessions this November!
The Christmas Parade In Russell
We attended the annual holiday parade in Russell, Ontario and it brought festive cheer to the community, thanks to the incredible efforts of the Russell Fire Department and the Russell Lions. Just like us the streets were lined with families enjoying the sights and sounds of the season, as the parade showcased the spirit of togetherness and holiday magic with floats created by lots of small local businesses. Events like these highlight the importance of community, making Russell a special place to celebrate the season.
