It Began With A Long Hot Weekend
As always if you live in Canada you are well aware that July kicks off with a big celebration, Canada Day. Canada Day is the day canadians spend partying up with family and friends to celebrate Canada's birthday! We took this time to relax with friends in our local town of Russell, Ontario and also take a walk down the road to check out the town of Russell's annual festivities.
My First Funeral Event Coverage
I got a call from an old friend of mine to help out last minute for the company he works for Leduc Bus lines LTD. It was was a sad day for the family as Gilbert (one of the two sons of the original founder: Noel Leduc) had sadly passed away. But with the task in hand I went and helped commemorate this day with Gilbert taking his last ride in the companies new coach.
An Engagement Session
After a quick camping vacation (with 3 children and 2 dogs) I was back at it with a COMPLIMENTARY ENGAGEMENT SESSION which was captured in Ottawa's west end. This lovely couple will be getting married later on this year.
Wildlife
One of my true passions other than the pursuit of capturings couples getting married., something that I have pursued for many years is wildlife photography. I have been concentrating my efforts this month within my local town of russell as there is a local photography competition coming up. Just as quickly as it came the month of July was over in a flash! The last shoot of the month was up in the beautiful hills of Quebec at Ottawa's Cliffside Wedding Venue: Le Belvédère. This photoshoot for the newly wedded couple (October 2023) was brought together by Grey Loft Studio as they hosted a 3 hour long event, going through all this stunning venue has to offer for photographic locations.
