What a Busy Month!
The month of August has flown by in an absolute dash, I was busy not only on the profesional side but also in our own personal lifes too. This is because my partner and i were getting married right in the middle of the month. with the lead up to our wedding being very busy as my and my now wife had done all of our own organising and planning of our wedding day!
No Time Left.
The few months I have been tracking and trying desperately to try and cross paths with a local wetland animal that has been very elusive. With the local photography competition submission date looming fast and hopes high I took the last chance I could for this month. But with another early morning start and hours in the swamp I was still not fortunate enough to grab an image. I did however bump into this racoon that was taking a swim in the Castor River.

Then Some Weddings....
I was at three weddings during the month of August all within one week. I was a second shooter at one (images are not due for release at this time). I was then the main photographer of Carissa and Wade's beautiful wedding at the Ottawa Wedding Chapel.
The final wedding was my own, so the weeks before and after as you can imagine where extremely busy catching up with family that visited from out of town.

The Last Half Of August
With the end of the month in sight it was a scramble to fit the rest of it in! Before my mother and sister departed back to england we were able to get an early morning hike around Ottawa's Mer Bleue Bog, which is located in Ottawa's Greenbelt. We were able to see the back of a beaver's head. So I shall be returning another day for more pictures of that beaver.
Our little guy also turned 11 months old this month!! This year has gone so fast, I'm definitely going to miss my wife when she returns back to work in early September. The home and office are going to be incredibly quiet!

On The Water
I was very lucky this month to get taken out on the water by my wife's dear friend Mitch from Mitch's Dog Grooming in White Lake Ontario. We got the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife around the beautiful White Lake, including a Bald Eagle.

Preparing for Christmas
You may think it's a bit early for Christmas pictures!
However I am planning on running a Xmas themed photo studio at the Russell Flea Market in the lead up to Christmas. So in preparation I tested the booth size I required, the backdrop I am using and took promo photos so I can run advertising in the lead up to the market.
Very excited about the flea market, I hope it adds lots of value to our local area. As I have spent months planning these markets and can't wait to see how it goes.
